Meet our team of trained counselors at Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center.

Elizabeth Carrillo, MA, LPC
Director of Clinical Services

As clinical director, Elizabeth provides support and consultation to the trauma therapy team. Elizabeth has worked extensively with children and families in a therapeutic setting. She loves working closely with therapists and therapy interns who are working with TBCAC families.

Elizabeth is the mother of two children and has many four-legged friends; a dog, two cats, and a frog. She loves spending time with her family, enjoys swimming and being near the water, and can often be found with a good book. 

Deanna Couture, LPC-S, NCC, RPT
Play Therapist

Deanna is our play therapist, and she loves to show her clients all of her therapy toys. Deanna is trained in Play Therapy, TF-CBT, and PSB (Problematic Sexual Behavior). Play therapy helps clients better process their experiences and develop more effective strategies for managing their worlds.

When she’s not at work, she enjoys walking her dog, swimming, and playing games with her family. Her favorite color is fuchsia pink!

Jourdan Dean
Clinical Intake Coordinator

When you call our Counseling Team, Jourdan will pick up! She manages clients' counseling appointments and leads staff and organizational data tracking.

Jourdan has 2 dogs, 5 chickens, and 1 cat. She loves Toy Story, Mexican food, and playing softball and basketball with her husband, Zach.

Michelle Glasgow, MA, LPC, NCC, RPT-S
Trauma Therapist

Michelle is passionate about offering holistic, child-centered, and intergenerational therapy. Her goal is to connect with people right where they are and foster open conversations.

Outside of her therapeutic work, Michelle is an avid scrapbooker, puzzler, and movie enthusiast. Her favorite animal is dogs and she loves to play with her Australian Shepherd, Rascal.

Devin Moore, LLMSW
Trauma Therapist

Devin uses a ‘whole-person’ approach to counseling with her clients. She brings her background in nutrition, yoga, and the environment into her practice. Her goal is to create a safe, approachable, and accessible atmosphere for counseling. In addition to trauma therapy, Devin is trained in S.A.F.E. EMDR and TF-CBT.

Devin and her husband’s two little dogs, Hattie and Piqua, bring them endless joy. She is also passionate about protecting the environment and spending time outdoors. In addition to spending time outdoors, Devin enjoys reading fantasy novels, drinking coffee, and playing Hogwarts Legacy.

Kim Fleming, LPC, NCC
Trauma Therapist

Kim uses a “client-centered” approach to therapy. She partners with clients on their healing journey and enjoys using art and play in therapy with younger clients. Before coming to TBCAC, Kim was a counselor in a school setting for over 10 years and understands the stressors that teens and families are facing. In addition to trauma therapy, Kim is trained in TF-CBT.

Outside of work, Kim enjoys time with her family and 2 dogs. She also loves taking walks, yoga, watching movies and cooking a delicious meal. By far, her favorite treat is chocolate chip cookies!

Hayden Scott, MA, LLC
Trauma Therapist

Hayden views his work as a trauma therapist as an honor to walk with his clients in their healing journey. In addition to trauma therapy, Hayden is trained in EMDR and TF-CBT.

In his free time, Hayden enjoys bicycle racing, watching Star Wars, and eating pasta.

Sophie Wyatt
Graduate Intern

Sophie is studying at Ferris State to earn her Master’s in Clinical Social Work. As our graduate intern, she shadows our therapists and sees her own clients while strengthening her skills. She has a background in working with children and is excited about this next step in her career.

In Sophie’s free time, she enjoys hiking, eating pasta, and doing pilates. She also is an avid journaler who loves the outdoors and playing with her dogs, Myles and Gizmo.
